Most people drive 4x4s - this is Phillip's. The roads in St Lucia are a series of pot holes joined up with scraggy bits of tarmac. (APR 04)

Many of the locals in Castries assume that you are from a cruise ship and are filthy rich (Jan 05) [If you look carefully you can see some geezer who accosted me and demanded money for being in my picture - needless to say he didn't get any!]

This man (you can just see him in the boat) goes around the marinas and beaches selling stuff - mainly coconuts I think - quite a character.
